Save Tibet's Rivers: Protect Asia's Water Tower

Tibet's rivers are among the most important freshwater sources on Earth. Flowing from the Tibetan Plateau, they provide water to nearly two billion people across Asia. These rivers support biodiversity, agriculture, livelihoods, and cultural heritage.

We call upon governments, international organizations, environmental institutions, and all stakeholders to prioritize the protection of Tibet's rivers by ensuring sustainable management, environmental transparency, and respect for the ecological importance of the Tibetan Plateau.
